In use
Lift the lid and the folder comes out in one piece, so you can take the papers to the table and leave the case on the shelf. The space under it takes cash envelopes, jewelry boxes and drives. The hard shell lets you stack other things on top without crushing what is inside.
Check before you buy
- You want a hard case that keeps its shape.
- You store flat papers, not hanging folders.
- 5 lb empty is fine for the person who will carry it.
Pick another one if
At 5 lb it is the heaviest case of its size in our range. Letter and legal sheets both lie flat inside, though hanging folders do not fit. If weight matters more than rigidity, choose the soft organizer box.
